The only problem with the silicone skin is that it attracts dirt, hair, fur, anything you can think of. It does the job of protecting it and keeping it from slipping. I just wish it was made with a material like the iPhone silicone covers are made with. They are not sticky and so they don’t attract junk.
Otherwise it does what it is supposed to do. My fear is that all of the attracted “stuff” could get into the buttons and cause worse wear and tear because it is as though it sits on the carpet with dogs rolling around on it and children getting cookie crumbs all over it…
It isn’t bad, but it could be less “attractive” to environmentally expected items of encounter such as dog fur and hair.
