I am tremendously impressed with this little gadget! First they borrowed from a neighbor as dandelions and thistles uprooting by hand, and could not get deeper as you remove the plants, roots and all, without bending or pulling hard. A small action of the foot, and weeds (thistles some pretty big with 2 inches thick stems) is literally from the ground. In fact, it works best on larger weeds, and really small with no slip between the teethuprooted. The only reason I gave it a 5 star rating, as the black friction remained glued on the back of the lever no time at all, the glue almost immediately began to slide, I used my Weed Popper ( fusion? do not think so, as the weather was not hot) and the record was soon out of the lever. The panel of friction was not necessary, however, Popper and the weeds continue to work very well all day. It seems veryrobust, 100% built in galvanized metal, and I think it will also be modified for some time. With the instructions that accompany it suggests that it works best if the soil is too dry, but I have been there for at least a week without rain, the weeds come out easily.
