I'm seeing this movie for a while 'and behind it last night. Thank God for Netflix! At first glance I was not sure what I had left myself with the hip-hop music and clubs around the hood of England. Visually the film was not much gay bashing and just managed to piss me off. Suddenly, the brilliance of the director came forward and went from looking bad if the film appear Angelo Olivier. It 'was love at first sight. Was sobeautiful in so many ways the film has changed completely. Yes this movie is hard, but it makes sense. There is gay bashing, semi-masturbation, rape, serious male / male prostitution and a lot of blood and violence. The film is good. It 's really pulls the heart strings and emotions work. You feel really good for the characters Olivier and Cal, I wanted to kill girl Nessa. buddy Cal is interesting and would be a great movie all by themselves or at least study psychology make a bigsubject. Is well together with some slight but interesting twist. If you do not want to buy, at least to see its location a good movie at least once.
Shank – Unrated Director Cut Overview
Shank is a blistering British indie pulsating with untamed sexuality and aggression. Cal (Wayne Virgo) is a handsome teenage thug so desperate to hide his gay cravings from his fellow gang members that he binges on drugs, secretive anonymous sex and acts of violence. But the bad boy s secret desires are uncovered when he rescues a kind-eyed French exchange student from one of the clan s sadistic hate crimes. Though the two boys fall passionately in love, Cal s crew is bent on revenge for his betrayal and the young lovers are placed in unspeakable danger. Unapologetic and as poignant as it is shocking, Shank is a must see…
