I wanted to get into slide, so I got this book, along with a couple of others. I found this book to be the best, because it had the most. Besides the alternate tunings, and detailed examples, there are practice tracks to improvise with, and scale: two things that the other slide books didn’t have. This is a good primer, with everything you’ll need to get started (minus the slide and the actual guitar, of course).
