I bought this for my 6 year old son after reading the positive reviews here on Amazon. My son really, really enjoyed all the books. They are fascinating stories with lots of excitement, mystery and action – just ask my interests and what would happen. However, I would prefer that Osborne had written with proper sentence structure – there are a lot of sentence fragments and sentences that begin with "e" or "but." My son is sometimes confused withFragments that could affect your understanding if I was not there to clarify for him. Children learn correct sentence structure in schools so pounds – at least the first readers – should really follow the rules of English. Children are very smart. No need to have their stories, "stunned." That is, we really like the stories, and I think to buy – and to address the occasional need to explain strange sentences structured.
