As a parent, I appreciate these are very positive representation of someone dedicated to a normal jobhis life of overtime for the pleasure of himself and his clients. I was very young modern woman who could easily explain what you wanted to impress. And I appreciated the close knit happy family pictures closely interact with each other at home behind the shop. I read that story to my children when they were in pre-school and primary school, and now, 19 and 22, is one of the books I remember best. Recently, my daughterdescribes a young man fascinated with his imaginative and engaging way, it was a joke. I told her she looked in the shop of George, and she said: "Yes, George, I want you!" This book, now out of print, reissued deserves is an excellent model for today's children (and adults) in many ways.
