This text is so above all others in the area, just worth mentioning that this competition. He (his companion volume, and combined) of a complete and thorough course, with a balanced treatment of sensitive and politically motivated questions about the heartbreaking separation from what was essentially a language. Each chapter has parallel texts of the Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian dialects, is offered by the Serbs in Cyrillic and Latin script. They also provideare huge (and important) vocabulary, detailed explanations of the most challenging aspects of grammar, English language learners (especially those who have never studied in any other Slavic language). The case is complex in its many idiomatic uses are covered in detail. Coverage of the verb (and its system aspects, that is if the action of the verb or in progress, routine or something that happened or will happen at some point stressesover time) is one of the best I've seen for any Slavic language. The book is full of exercises, the bulk (and interesting) and the quality of the CD, which together with (there are separate groups of Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian), as good as you could ask. Also in the book interesting and authentic material of literature is very underrated, written in that language. The book is beautifully illustrated too many pictures of both citiesSarajevo, Zagreb and Belgrade and the countryside and coast as well. Everything does not like? Well, an answer key would be nice too, but I just noticed in another post that the key sold separately for the years (and individual) for each of the three languages / dialects.
